    URLs in Google Sitemap XML

    Did anyone who knows, how many URLs at most did Google Sitemap XML files limit? Thanks a lot.~ ??? :

    I don't think there are limits per se. However in order to make it easier for google bots to read your sitemaps, it is advised to keep it at 50 or 100. If you have hundreds of thousands of links in a single sitemap, the bot might not be able to read them all and therefore possibly miss many of those pages you wanted to include in the index.

    You can therefore create multiple sitemaps with smaller number of links and submit them all to Google Webmasters Tools.

    I know, it's 50K URLs limit, I got it from Google Help Center last night. Thanks all the same.~

    Well, the limits might be 50K but according to Google Webmaster guidelines they advise to keep it to 100:

    "If the site map is larger than 100 or so links, you may want to break the site map into separate pages."

    Maybe for xml sitemaps to use just for Google webmaster central it is different, but it is something to take into mind.

    Unlimited

    One sitemap can have unlimited links according to your site size.

    yes,

    I agree with lowcostwebhosting.

    You can put unlimited url in your sitemap because sitemap is just a mirror or your site and you can put there all of your pages url.

    There are no limitation with sitemap.

    nice, i had make hundreds of xml files submit to google, and updated them periodically. google is favor it very much. ;D
