About LinkBacksThe only .infos I've ever registered were premium-letter LLLL.info. I honestly don't care much about .infos but a lot of people buy them for 2 main reasons:
1 - When they want to buy as many extensions of their brand (.com, .net, .org & .info).
2 - When they need a really cheap domain (.info, 1st year = less than a dollar).
Of course there are a few who are into .infos for their own reasons.
If someone was trying to sell you a ready-made .info site for $10 and another person was trying to sell you a ready-made .com site for $20, which would you go for?

Personally I would go for the .coms even at a higher price since dot infos unfortunately have a poor reputation due to their heavy use by spammers. It's really difficult to build a brand or a successful website around a dot info. Which major website do you know of that is a .info ?
